2019 has come and gone. It was a busy year full of painting and even some sewing! I really am not much of a sewist but had fun when Kari went with us to the Outer Banks for a week.
And it led to my sewing some other things.
I painted several mortar boards for graduations...here is one.
A project for a giveaway for a group of teenagers.
and watercolor.More shrink plastic.
Some mixed media pieces for fun.
More shrink plastic...vintage photos used of my brothers.
Then there were some pet paintings, some that I was commissioned to do and others were gifts.
Here's "Man" a very sweet tabby cat.
Then there is Murphy, a gentle Irish Wolfhound who lived a longer than normal life for such a big dog because he was so well-taken care of and loved.
I don't even know the name of this one or if it is a male or female but sure is cute.
I don't usually paint people but a friend wanted her great-grandchild's portrait done and I said I'd try.
Then there's Rocky, who is deaf but as special a big teddy bear as they come.
There are more and all are special and I feel I really know them by the time I've finished.
There was much more painting and making and sharing time with friends in the studio. It is such a great thing to have that place to work in and it has been good for others as well. Looking forward to 2020 and more to come.
What a lovely collection of art!
