An update since I posted this earlier. Here's a 3x3 that I did at lunch for Sanna. It has one of my favorite quotes on it. She wanted something like spread your wings and fly, etc. as she was trying to stretch creatively and take some chances.
I finished my accordion-folded circle booklet this weekend. It fits in a CD tin. Kinda cute, I think. Here are the pages:
The front page is shown in my last post with "Sometimes a good witch." The back of these pages are painted/sprayed but undecorated. I may do a fall or Thanksgiving theme on the back so I can do double-duty.
Where has the year gone? We're into October now and I can't believe it. I say that every year, but truly each year does go by faster the older you get. When I look "ahead" and think okay, if I live to be 80, I only have about thirty years left. Not being morbid, it's just there's so much I want to do and wonder if I'll get half of it done. It's always amazed me when someone said they were bored. How? There are so many great place to travel to, museums to visit, things to learn. I still want to learn more about photography, silversmithing (the jewelry side of it) and on and on. I could spend weeks fine-tuning my house and getting it painted and crown molding added, painting a mural in a room and on and on. Then there's gardening, volunteering at a hospital, visiting old roommates who live far away. Oh gosh. I could go on. But I won't.
I'm not ready to think of October as the end of the year. Your book is fun and the fatbook page is very encouraging.
